Towards Intelligent Data Preparation
A research project at the Technical University of Munich, M@OK (Machine@OnlineKnowledge), aims to look at the problems of accessing and processing the right data in the age of big data, in particular ways to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), i.e. the product quality, performance and availability, of a system. Work has been carried out with powder press manufacturer Dorst to develop new services for its products based on digitisation, and to know at an early stage which maintenance is necessary or which part must be procured. The data collection and analysis for this are discussed.
